Langley Grammar School Parents Association

The PA is made up of all the Langley Grammar School parents run by a small committee. This committee is open to all parents to join - simply by coming along.

We are a very friendly and sociable group that meet throughout the school year to help raise extra funds for the pupils. Some of the events that have been organised are:

In addition, we have set up the www.buy.at/LGSPA website, where purchases of everyday items can be made and the PA receives back a percentage of the sale.
We also help with refreshments at performances/information evenings that the school may put on. For example; Carmen, Tsunami Dance Evening, Cinderella, the Orchestral Concerts, Parent's New Intake Evenings etc. Every so often a member of the PA will attend the School Council Meetings.
The PA has very close links with the school and not only raises funds but also supports the school in its aims and objectives for the pupils. Here are some of the things that the Parent's Association have purchased over the years:

- Various sports kits for the school's sporting trips abroad
- Mini buses
- Parasols for the outdoor eating area
- A significant contribution went towards the Specialist Schools bid

There are other projects pending, one of which is the purchase of a Public Address system.
