The Sixth Form at Langley Grammar School welcomes applications from students with good academic potential who are currently completing their GCSE’s at other schools. We value the contribution that students from outside our school bring to Sixth Form life here at Langley Grammar School.

The number of students to be admitted from outside the school is physically limited by class sizes and is likely to be around twenty. Our admissions could, however, exceed this number to accommodate applications from appropriately qualified students who wish to pursue combinations of subjects selected from Art & Design, Computer Studies, Design & Technology, Drama & Theatre Studies, English Literature, French, German, Geography, History, Music and Physical Education.

The admissions criteria are published in the Sixth Form prospectus (available via the website), as are details of subject courses offered together with an overview of life in the Sixth Form.

If you would like to apply to join our Sixth Form in Year 12 in September 2010 please download the application form from our website. The completed application form must be submitted to Langley Grammar School by Monday 22 March. Applications will be considered on the basis of academic potential and those candidates considered most likely to meet our admissions criteria will be invited to an information afternoon at the school on Wednesday 28 April. Provisional offers of places in the sixth form, subject to the candidate’s success in their GCSE examinations, will be made during May.
